| It is the objectives for teaching to fulfill the educational principles comprehensively, to deepen teaching reform continuously,and to attach great importance to increase the beneficial result of runing a school and to improve the teaching quality. A pattern of multi-level,multi--speciality,multi-school-system for running a school has been formed,which takes the undergraduate education as the foundation,the postgraduate education as focal point, the adult eduction as supplyment. The university ranks as the best of the successful ones directly under the Ministry of Public Health in compiling national planning textbooks as chief editors,in obtaining the national excellent textbook prizes and in winning the ministerial teaching achievement prize. Of the 10 national planning textbooks for different medical subjects and 5 textbooks for secondary medical schools,4 kinds of textbooks have achieved the national excellent prizes.Also,2 teaching researches won national rewards, and 16 obttained provincial awards.Surgery and Environmental Health are two of the national key disciplines.4 disciplines have been evaluated as provincially outstanding ones. 16 disciplines have entered the procession of first-class subjects at the university. Our university has taken a lead in carrying on the credit system among the medical and pharmaceutical institutionsof higher learning in our country and in practising the competitive mechanism of entitling the really excellent students to be promoted to a higher system and of degrading the actually backward ones to a lower system through the 3-year,5-year,and 7year system. Mooreover, more than 50 teaching bases have been founded,and over 400 people have been invited as part-time teachers in these bases. |
