Since it was founded by Dr.Bolon, a doctor of German nationality in 1907,our university
has had a friendly mutual relationship with Germany for a long time. For this reasion,
it has been rared by the national groverment as the key university in cultural exchange
between China and Germany.Over the past 10 years of reform and opening, on the basis of
establishing and developing the traditional relation with Germany, great efforts have
been made to exploit a omnibearing , multi-level and multi-way mutual exaching with
other countries. Attention has been paid to extensively absorb the merits of different
countries, and to use them to serve the teaching, the reseach ,the medical care, the
personnel training and the development of advanced scientific and technical enterprise,
by which a harmonious international cooperation environment has been created for winning
a good reputation for our university in the world and for increasing the general power
of running a school.Relationship of international cooperation and project cooperation
have been formed one after another with more than 30 universities, institues,hospitals
and companies in a series of countries, areas and international organizations as Germany,
US,Japan,Canada,Sultan ,Malaysia ,Hongkong, WHO, and the children's Funds of UN. Since
1979, over 1,400 scholares and administrators have been selected and sent abroad to refresh,
study and work, and over 100 foreign experts and teachers have been invited to engage in
teaching and research for long or short periods of time. Meanwhile, no less than received
for short periods of time and more than 300 foreign oversea students have been trained for
long or short durations in the university.
